When the Baby Hog is away the Grandma will Play

Grandma and Kendall got some much needed girl time this past Saturday. Grandpa Lap "aka the Baby Hog" went golfing with his buddies while Grandma, Kendall, Great Grandma and I hug out. Kendall sure does love her Grandpa; they have a special little bond, but she and Grandma have special things they do together too. Grandma sings to K and rocks her to sleep...Grandpa's can't do it the way Grandma's do. Plus Grandma knows all these great songs and games from working with her kids at Bible Study Fellowship which Kendall really likes to hear. We also went to Mandie Whitacker-Bayless' baby shower on Saturday to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby Lillian "Lillie". K wore her party dress, it was a party after all!
