Easter 2011

For Easter this year, we woke up and Kendall played with a car toy she got in her Easter Basket, a beetle Volkswagen with flowers on it. It has great distance when you pull it back and let it go! She then went to church and Grandma and Grandpa Griffis came with us. For lunch we headed over to our local park for some fun, sun and eats. We played on the playground, ate lunch and tried to do a little Easter egg hunting which didn't go super smoothly. Kendall doesn't quite get that after she finds one egg she needs to keep looking for others. She just wanted to either eat or dump out the eggs contents and then try to eat the plastic egg. We will have to work on this next year! It was a great way to spend such a meaningful day!
