We had such a nice holiday visiting my family in California. We got to see both my dad's and mom's sides of the family...my mom hosted both Christmas Eve and Day...she's insane. We got to spend two weekends with Jon and Lou which was awesome and spend time with my Grandma (my mom's mom). Uncle Jon taught Kendall how to pick her nose so a big thanks for that...don't you just love brothers. They are never up to any good. Then my dad taught K how to hit the wall and say "Boom". I have no idea why but she loves to do it and is still up to it here in Texas.
We got to visit with my girlfriends and their hubbies. We played this fun dice game...it was especially fun because Troy & I won approximately $40 in one dollar bills. We never win so it was real exciting. We also got all the kiddos together for two play dates; it's always so fun to see how they all have changed in just a few months. Troy and I spent our first night away from Kendall since she was born; we stayed at lovely Wine & Roses hotel for a little R&R. We were also able to met up for dinner with the Horton Family, our dear friends from D.C. and their baby, Isaac. We spent 3 days in the mountains at our family cabin. Troy and I went skiing which we had not been able to do in 2 years. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful.
What a wonderful Christmas Holiday Vacation!
