Kendall & Riley Updates

Kendall has a lot to say these days at 2.5 years. She has an amazing memory particularly for peoples names. She loves to tell me the names of her friends, family, characters on her favorite show Dora the Explorer, random people she's met and the list goes on. She loves to laugh..just laugh her head off..as she did at Aunt Ew (Lou) & Uncle Jon's house on Mother's Day. Dancing is still her favorite past time...she can't get enough. Music must be constantly playing in our home throughout the day and if I turn it off she will find some noise making toy to dance to.

 Translating the language of K:
"Hold you" translation "Pick me up and hold me"
"Pie-you" translation "Pee you"
"Ready set go" translation "Let's go already"
"Bug hurt you" translation "I'm scared the bug will hurt me"

Mommy: What's your name?
K: Kendall
Mommy: What's your last name?
K: Big Girl
You think Mommy has been planting that seed in her head just a little. LOL

"Smiley" Riley must smile 100 times a day at 2 months old...now almost 3! She just love to show me her gums and form her mouth to what looks like she is saying "Hello". At 10 weeks she is quit the social butterfly taking after her father. She is very concerned with missing out on something during the day so she fights sleep to the point of exhaustion. She got that trait from me...what goes around comes around. Below are pictures from our visit to CA. We had such a great time as always with Grandma & Grandpa Lap and all our friends and family. Can't wait to see you all again in September! Love you.
