Rolling Riley at 3 Months and Kendall the Spit Fire

How can 3 months have past?

On Saturday, Riley turned 3 months old!!!  Not only that but she rolled over from her tummy to back. She put on a little demonstration for our family and then looked at us as we were yelling with excitement "what like you didn't know I could do that"! She is such a good baby. She has been sleeping 10 hours at night consistently for the last several nights. She goes down around 10ish and then wakes up at 8am-ish. Her catnapping is no longer an issue as she is napping like a champ. Why was I worried!?!? She still loves to smile and has begun laughing and giggling. She loves the silly noises Mommy makes to get her attention. The girl still loves to be cuddled..all day long would be her preference which leaves Mommy's back stiff and aching at night but she's worth it. Riley has upgraded from a paci to her thumb and hands to sooth herself. She loves those things. You can hear her munching on them on the monitor when she wakes up each morning. HAPPY 3 MONTHS RILEY RUE! We love you.
Big Sister & Little Sister

As for Kendall, she is a kick in the pants. She is a 2 1/2 little ball of energy. She is learning manners, about obeying and consequences when we don't obey. She does not like consequences nor Uh Oh Time which she finds herself in often. Now that my baby is sleeping through the night my toddler is now not. WHAT?!?!?!? With her being in her big girl bed, nap time and bed time are a constant battle. She is waking up in the night often and along with waking up at 5am instead of her usual 7ish. We are trying to teach her to stay in her room until her alarm clock reads 7am, but this hasn't exactly worked as of yet. Despite that she is such a great kid. She constantly makes Troy and I laugh and she is such a great big sister. She loves to give hugs and kisses. The best is when they are out of the blue and she just walks up to you and lays one on ya. Recently she caught Troy and I kissing and she yelled "more kissing, more kissing" and we were happy to oblige her. When she gets older she'll be running from the room when she sees that just like I did when I saw my parents kisses...gross! :-)
The cute kid who's giving me a run for my money!

Tia (Aunt Lea Ann) trying Kendall's sunglasses on Riley. Didn't go over so well.

We are starting em out early.
